Coronation Mark No 563
 
On the 3rd of February 2022 W/Bro Steve Walls P.G.S.D Representative attended with R W/Bro Peter Connelly at the installation of Bro Geoffrey Roberts. The Brethren were pleased to welcome him.
The Worshipful Master of Coronation Lodge W/Bro Roy Smith P. Prov GJW was unable to attend due to a recent knee operation. V.W/Bro Derek Horrrocks PGJO stepped in as acting Worshipful Master on the night, to install the new Master. He welcomed W /Bro Steve Walls P.G.S.D and his colleagues from Grand lodge.
For the purpose of the installation V. W/Bro Derek Horrrocks PGJO called on the following to assist, V. W/Bro Eric Hughes P.G.J. O to occupy the chair of the SW, W/Bro Hughie O Neil P.Pr.G. G GSwdB to occupy the chair of JW, and W/Bro Chris Walls P. Pr G M O to honour the Lodge as inner Guard.
V.W.Bro. Derek then proceeded with the Installation through the inner workings. The newly installed master W.Bro. Geoffrey Roberts was unable to invest his IPM W.Bro. Roy Smith P.Prov G.J.W but agreed to invest him at a later date and thank him for his assistance in gaining the chair of Coronation Mark Lodge.
The Brethren were then invited into the Lodge room for the continuance of the Ceremony.
 
V.W.Bro. Derek Invested the Master with the Keystone and Hall stone Collaret’s and Bro. Alan Ledger presented working tools.
 

The addresses were given by the following V.W.Bro. Barry Elman to the Master. To the Wardens and the Overseers was from V.W.Bro. Eric Hughes. 
 
W.Bro. Steve Walls P.G.S.D. (Representative) addressed the Brethren and then thanked all who had taken part in the ceremony, with special thanks to V.W.Bro. Derek Horrrocks, the P.G.M’s Special Representative for Garston Group of Lodges and to Bro Alan Ledger on his presentation of the working tools.
 
The Worshipful Master then offered two cheques £100 to the West Lancashire Mark Charities, and £100 to the Garston Hall.
 
In addition to an excellent Ceremony V.W.Bro. Eric Hughes PGJO was again called upon to perform a very pleasurable task which was to present a Mark Grand Lodge Certificates to Brother Keith Skidmore. Bro Eric Hughes congratulated them and wished him well for the future in Mark.
